Jilted lover kills girl
A jilted lover in his early 30s was arrested for allegedly stabbing to death a teenager who rejected his marriage proposal and critically injuring her sister at south Delhi’s Kusumpur Pahari area on Thursday morning.

A jilted lover in his early 30s was arrested for allegedly stabbing to death a teenager who rejected his marriage proposal and critically injuring her sister at south Delhi’s Kusumpur Pahari area on Thursday morning.
Police said the incident was reported from the Vasant Kunj north area at around 11 am when a passer-by noticed two girls lying in a pool of blood.
The deceased girl has been identified as 19-year-old Anita, who was a resident of Mahipalpur.
“Anita’s sister, Kavita, 18, was found lying with injuries near her elder sister’s body and both were rushed to the Trauma Centre at AIIMS for treatment,” said a senior police officer.
He added that Kavita’s condition was now stable.
