It was a sultry Saturday for Delhi with high humidity levels and temperature above the average. The Met department has forecast similar weather for Sunday.
The maximum temperature settled at 34.4 degrees Celsius, 2 notches above the average for the season, while the minimum temperature was 21.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average. The humidity stood at 77%.
No respite is in line Sunday.
“The maximum and minimum temperature will be around 34 and 20 degrees Celsius, respectively. The weather is likely to remain hot and humid Sunday,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
