Rajesh Kumar Das, 25, and Anil Kumar Sah, 35, from Bihar, were arrested for killing Shamsher while on their way from Bilaspur to Chhattisgarh's Raipur on September 12, said Chhaya Sharma, DCP (south).

"On September 13, the owner of a local taxi stand reported that a man who had introduced himself as Sunil and claimed to be an accountant at a prominent public school in Gurgaon had asked for a vehicle," said DCP Sharma.

The taxi operator sent an Indigo vehicle to pick the passengers. However, the vehicle broke down near Agra and the employer sent Shamsher to pick them up but he did not return.

The police said, the complainant contacted the said school and came to know that no one by the name of Sunil worked there.
