CBSE Board 10th Result 2019 declared: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 board examination results 2019. Check pass percentage here.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 board examination results 2019. Out of 17,61,078 students who appeared in the CBSE Class examinations 16,04,428 have passed, which is a pass percentage of 91.10%. The pass percentage this year is 4.40% higher than the last year’s 86.70%.

Among regions Trivandrum has the highest pass percentage of 99.85%, while Guwahati has the lowest pass percentage of 74.49%.

In institution wise comparison, KVs have the best pass percentage of 99.47%, while government schools have the lowest pass percentage of 71.91%.

Students who have appeared in CBSE Class 10 examination this year can check their results by visiting the official websites of the board at cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

CBSE Class 10 exams began on February 21 and concluded on March 29 this year.

According to a press release issued by CBSE last month, the CBSE board examination were conducted in about 6,000 examination centres across India and abroad. A total of 31,14,831 students registered for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations this year, out of which 18,27,472 registered for the Class 10 exams.

The highest number of candidates who registered for Class 10, Class 12 exams and overall were from Delhi. According to the statistics released by the board, 5,69,696 candidates had registered for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from Delhi.

This year maximum female candidates (2,72,271) appeared from Delhi and the maximum male candidates (3,38,613) appeared from Uttar Pradesh (UP).

CBSE Class 10 passing criteria

CBSE has changed the Class 10 passing criteria. Now the combined marks of internal assessment and theory examinations are considered for deciding the pass criteria.

The CBSE declared the Class 12 examinations 2019 results on May 2.
