JEE Main Result 2019: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main April session exam results 2019 were declared on Monday, April 29 . The ranks of the candidates have been decided taking into consideration better of the two NTA Scores of all candidates appeared in JEE(Main) JAN 2019 and APRIL 2019 examinations and in accordance with the policy announced earlier.

Himansu and Naman of UP bag AIR 14 and 17, respectively
Himanshu Gaurav Singh of Gorakhpur and Naman Gupta of Kanpur are among the 24 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in JEE (Main) January- 2019 and April- 2019 Examination in Paper-1 (BE/BTech). Himanshu was ranked 14th and Naman stood 17th. Read more here.
Ashutosh Singla from Panchkula emerges tricity topper in JEE Main
Two students from Panchkula bagged top ranks in the JEE Main April 2019 exam result declared on Monday. Ashutosh Singla (18) bagged All India Rank (AIR) 50 and became the tricity topper while Dishank Jindal (17) bagged AIR 57 and bagged state rank 1 in Chandigarh.

JEE Main Result in numbers:
According to a press release issued by NTA, for January attempt 9,29,198 candidates and for April attempt 9,35,755 candidates were registered out of which 8,74,469 students in January and 8,81,096 students in April simultaneously appeared in the examination.
Over 2.4 lakh candidates likely to register for JEE Advanced
The total number of eligible candidates could be slightly higher than 2.45 lakh in case of tied ranks/scores in any category,” read a statement released by the admissions authority. In 2018, 2.31 lakh students were eligible for the JEE-Adv exam.
More number of candidates to appear for JEE Advanced
This year, 2.45 lakh candidates who clear the JEE-Mains exam will be able to register for the JEE-Adv exam, increasing the number of students competing for each seat.
