On Yogi Adityanath’s "namoona" remark apparently for Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister hit back saying people should vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if they want dirty hooliganism, abuses, corruption, and dirty politics. “And if you want schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads then vote for me,” Kejriwal tweeted Saturday, sharing the video clip that the Uttar Pradesh’s CM had posted on Twitter.

Yogi Adityanath, during an election rally in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district, made scathing remarks about Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party, and Congress. In the video, to which Kejriwal has responded, the UP CM said, “This Aam Aadmi Party’s namoona, who has come from Delhi, is a well-wisher of terrorism. He opposes Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, and questions surgical strike…terrorism and corruption is part of their genes…”

Adityanath also slammed Congress for indulging in “vote-bank” politics. "Because of its Muslim vote bank, Congress never wanted to respect your faith. That is the reason why Congress was against rebuilding the Somnath temple. But with his strong will, Sardar Patel went ahead with the construction..” He further accused Congress of shielding “professional rioters,” and also gave an example of his “governance” model in UP. “...riots no longer take place in Uttar Pradesh. Our bulldozers have made Uttar Pradesh riot-free,” he said.
The political temperature in Gujarat is high as the state goes to poll on December 1 and 5. Leaders are making last-minute pitches based on promises and manifestos as BJP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party race to win the assembly election, the result of which will be announced on December 8.
