Morning my salsa-dipped nachos! How goes it in your duniya? It’s going great in mine I tell you. Sher Lock Holmes and my other sleuths are doing a fine job of sourcing chatpata scooplets from tinsel town.

So I’m not really missing Madhu the Mottu Maid and Rapchik Rajni around in my penthouse. Why bother about them? There’s more interesting things to talk about… so read on my sweetums.

For starters, I’ve just been informed that Aamir Khan may not sign up for Dhoom 3. Kyun? Kyunki Aditya Chopra is keen to start the film this October… while the actor can’t start shooting for another film till February next year.aamirkhan

And why is that, I’m sure you want to know. Sher Lock Holmes tells me, now that Peepli Live has become a commercial hit, Khan wants to focus on the post-production of his wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat. Since he’s planning to release the movie this winter, he can’t take up any acting assignment for now.

After Dhobi Ghat, Khan will divert his attention and energies to nephew Imran Khan’s Delhi Belly.

Apparently, he’s planning to release it next February-March. And knowing his marketing genius, there’s no doubt he will be too busy implementing those strategies.

Aur pata hai kya? According to my khabru, Aamir is believed to have conveyed his khwaish of working in Aditya Chopra’s next as a director. The main reason being that it will start by the time Khan is done with his two productions and he hasn’t worked with the Chopra scion yet. Now it remains to be seen which Yashraj production Aamir will feature in next.

Tsk tsk.
