Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani wedding highlights: Suryagarh Palace lights up for sangeet night

Tight security is in place around the wedding venue – Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. An eye is being kept on the vehicles passing by and onlookers are being told to keep away from the spot. 

Last month, Sidharth was asked if he has Kiara on his speed dial. The actor had told Pinkvilla, "Yes, I do. It comes in handy to call up your co-actors. I have a lot of other people on speed dial.”

Here is the latest picture of the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. Security persons are keeping a watch on the entry and exit of people from the venue amid Sidharth and Kiara's wedding celebrations.  

Amid the wedding news, Amitabh Bachchan shared his memories of shooting for his 1971 film Reshma aur Shera in Pochina, a village in Jaisalmer. 

Juhi Chawla shared a video from her flight to Jaisalmer and simply captioned it with the hashtag sidkiara. She is among the confirmed guests at the wedding. 

Tight security is in place around the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer where Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are set to tie the knot. Around 100-150 guests are attending the wedding. 

According to some reports, Sidharth and Kiara are hosting a welcome lunch for guests today afternoon ahead of the Sangeet night. 

Sharing his reaction on the wedding, Shershaah producer Shabbir Boxwala told Pinkvilla, “I am genuinely very happy for Sidharth and Kiara. They are amazing people, and I am elated that the reel life couple from Shershaah are getting married in real life. I am sure that Vikram (Batra) would also be blessing them from above.”

As fans eagerly wait to get their hands on fresh pictures and videos from their pre-wedding celebrations, their old dance video from Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra's wedding reception in 2020 has gone viral. 

Some reports have suggested that the mehndi ceremony was held on Sunday and the Sangeet is scheduled to take place on Monday. Kiara's brother Mishaal Advani, who is a singer and composer, is expected to deliver a special performance at the Sangeet. 

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's video from the promotions of their 2021 film Shershaah is being loved by fans as they are yet to get fresh videos from their pre-wedding celebrations in Jaisalmer.

Boman Irani and Gauahar Khan sent wishes to Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra ahead of their wedding. Boman wished ‘health, long life, togetherness, understanding’ to the couple when asked to share his wishes at an event. Gauahar hoped for ‘cute babies’ for the couple.

The guests got a royal welcome as folk artists were seen performing outside the Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer where Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are all set to get married. 

Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor had graced Koffee With Karan last year. On the topic of Kiara's wedding, Karan Johar had said that he and Shahid would dance to Dola Re Dola whenever it happens. Will the two actually dance together, remains to be seen. 

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani never shared any pictures of them together from their vacations. But last month, Kiara shared a vacation picture for the first time as she wished him on his birthday.

While earlier reports suggested the couple will tie the knot on February 6, some new reports have suggested that the wedding is actually on February 7.
