Actor Imran Khan is on a high — both professionally and personally. He is basking in the success of his last release, Delhi Belly, and has just returned from his long due honeymoon in Europe. Here's more on the actor's trip.
Actor Imran Khan is on a high — both professionally and personally. He is basking in the success of his last release, Delhi Belly, and has just returned from his long due honeymoon in Europe.
“The honeymoon was very relaxing. It was my first holiday in the last four years. It was great, and I feel rejuvenated,” says the 28-year-old, who married long time girlfriend Avantika Malik in January this year. “I did play a good husband — even carried her shopping bags!” he adds.
Next up is the release of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (MBKD), co-starring Katrina Kaif. “Her dedication is something to learn from,” says Imran, who is currently shooting for Dharma Productions’ next film, which will also see Kareena Kapoor in the cast.
When asked what he thinks of his contemporaries, he says, “We all are quite chilled out. There are no ego hassles. For example, Shahid, Neil, Ranbir, Sonam, Deepika and I can chill out together and are comfortable about it. There is a sense of security.”
