The singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanna Angelina Germanotta, has posed naked for a spread in Vanity Fair and in an accompanying interview she said that fame has brought along loneliness.
“I’m perpetually lonely. I’m lonely when I’m in relationships. It’s my condition as an artist,” said the 24-year-old. The singer says she has been celibate for some time now. “I’m drawn to bad romances. I’m quite celibate now; I don’t really get time to meet anyone. I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me,” she said. She has sold over 15 million albums and 40 million singles to date.
