The host for the evening, actor Boman Irani kept the audience entertained. Present at the gala were actors Lilette Dubey, Rasika Joshi and Seema Biswas, and danseuses Shovana Narayan and Sonal Mansingh. Actor Om Puri walked in with wife Nandita, while artist Satish Gujral was accompanied by wife Kiran. Also spotted enjoying the show were animal rights activist Ambika Shukla, theatre personality MS Sathyu and dancer Aditi Mangaldas. Israeli composer Shye Ben-Tzur performed at the do.
