Dia Mirza’s 7,199 dress finds the perfect balance between sophisticated and sultry

Dia Mirza’s Masaba dress mixed bold (leg slit, quirky animal print) and polished (grey and black). Dia’s insanely cool and effortless look stood out because it could be worn anywhere, by anybody.

Dia Mirza is proof that you don’t have to be an A-list celebrity to dress like one. Allow us to show you the actor’s eye-catching dress ( 7,199) from fashion designer Masaba Gupta’s label House of Masaba. Dia often puts together fashion-forward, girly ensembles that leave us with the urge to copy immediately (her striking good looks may have a part to play in that, too). The proof is right here.

On Saturday, Dia was spotted in Mumbai in this slightly bohemian Masaba dress — featuring a leg-flaunting slit — which is just as easy to throw on as your shorts and white T-shirt, but looks that much more chic.

The tea-length hemline of Dia’s dress is super flattering and is an appropriate length for every occasion. Not sure what shoes to wear with the not-really-maxi but not-really-midi hemline? As Dia winningly proves, the length looks lovely with flats.

This Dia Mirza look is just as appropriate for a laid-back get-together as it is for a dressier event. To that effect, it’s not only a figure-flattering option, it also take the guesswork out of getting dressed.

Whether you’re going to work, brunch, a date, or party, the possibilities of how to style it are endless. Just add in flat sandals for a low-key off-duty look and dress it up with heels or wedges and statement earrings à la Dia (she’s wearing Lara Morakhia) for an evening out. For added flair, try a pair of large gold hoop earrings.
