Indian designer to debut at ongoing New York Fashion Week

Prarthnna will showcase her Spring Summer 2018 collection titled Unabridged at the New York Fashion Week with Society Fashion Week on Saturday.

Indian designer Prarthnna is geared up to mark her debut on the New York Fashion Week with her brand Kovet.

Prarthnna will showcase her Spring Summer 2018 collection titled Unabridged at the New York Fashion Week with Society Fashion Week on Saturday. The fashion week started on Thursday, 8 February, and ends on Friday, 16 February.

“I believe in portraying a woman as a perfect blend of sensuality and class. Dressing should be defined by body shape, personal colours and variation. My new collection is all about this. It is young and feminine with elegant silhouettes and interesting techniques,” said Prarthnna said in a statement.

She said she is looking forward to represent the country’s emerging fashion aesthetic to international platform.

The collection will consist of resort wear, brunch wear, red carpet wear and power dressing, which are inspired from different elements like sun, sand, pearls, fuchsia flower, divas --who never fail to amaze, and women of substance.
