The AAP national convenor is accused of soliciting kickbacks from liquor traders in exchange for favours. The ED has also accused him of being the "kingpin and key conspirator" in the now-scrapped policy.

The agency has already arrested at least 14 top AAP leaders, including Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, in connection with the case.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will be produced at 2pm before the Rouse Avenue Court on the conclusion of his Enforcement Directorate custodial remand on Thursday, March 28.

The Delhi High Court will hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking the removal of Arvind Kejriwal from the post of chief minister of Delhi. The petitioner, Surjit Singh Yadav, says that a chief minister accused of a "financial scandal” should not be permitted to continue in public office, according to Live Law.

Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva submitted a complaint to Delhi Police commissioner Sanjay Arora on Wednesday, demanding an inquiry into orders that chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has sent from ED custody to AAP ministers.

“We demanded Delhi Police conduct an inquiry into the matter and bring the truth of the misleading letters into the public domain,” Sachdeva said.

Sushil Kumar Rinku, who was seen in the Parliament complex in chains last year to protest against his suspension from Lok Sabha and that of his party colleagues Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha from Rajya Sabha, joined the BJP on Wednesday.

The Aam Aadmi Party claims that jailed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal would do a "big expose" on the alleged excise policy scam in court today.

Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, also made a similar claim during a video address on Wednesday. "Arvind has said he will do a big expose on this before the court on March 28. He will reveal the truth of this so-called liquor scam and also present evidence," Sunita said.
