In pics: Season’s first dense fog envelops north India

Low visibility was reported from various parts of north India, including Delhi and NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh.

New Delhi, National Capital Region and adjoining states on Wednesday woke up to the first fog of the season with a dip in temperature and low visibility. Trains and flights were affected.

Weather experts from the Regional Meteorological Centre had predicted that dense fog may be experienced over parts of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR over the next few days owing to change in the speed and direction of the winds.
