Infiltration attempt foiled in Kashmir's Uri, three killed
This incident comes a day when the army recovered the bodies of two terrorists killed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police, in a joint operation, killed three infiltrators near Madiyan Nanak post in the Kamalkote sector of Uri, reported by news agency ANI.

This incident comes a day when the army recovered the bodies of two terrorists killed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
The two terrorists were shot dead on Monday when their bid to infiltrate into this side of the LoC in the Nowshera sector was foiled. One of the terrorists had stepped over a landmine causing an explosion around 10pm on Monday, officials said.
A captured terrorist undergoing treatment at a facility of the army had revealed that he along with four-five other terrorists were on a suicide mission to target Indian Army. He also confessed to have received ₹30,000 from a Pakistani colonel, Colonel Yunus, for the mission.
