Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy responds to PM Modi’s challenge, says more concerned about fitness of state

Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for nominating him to a fitness challenge and took the opportunity to ask for his support for the development of his state.
“Dear @narendramodi ji I am honoured& thankU very much for d concern about my health I believe physical fitness is imptnt for all&support d cause. Yoga-treadmill r part of my daily workout regime. Yet, I am more concerned about devlpment fitness of my state&seek ur support for it (sic),” Kumaraswamy tweeted.
Modi named Kumaraswamy, among others, to the fitness challenge earlier in the day as he posted a video of his morning exercises on Twitter.
The Prime Minister, a strong proponent of yoga, had promised to share his own fitness challenge video after he accepted Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge last month.
The cricketer had issued the challenge to the Prime Minister, cricketer MS Dhoni and actor wife Anushka Sharma as a part of sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign on Twitter.
