Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share his thoughts on several themes and issues in his ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme on All India Radio on Sunday.

This was the 24th edition of the programme. With this episode, ‘Mann ki Baat’ completed two years.

Here are the highlights of his address:

-- There is lot of anger in the country over Uri attack. We have faith in our forces. Culprits will be punished.

-- While politicians speak, military shows bravery; we are proud of our army

-- Peace and unity is the road to progress. Kashmir’s security is the government’s responsibility

-- Kashmiris wants their life to get back in track… want trade and studies to normalise, and the process has started

-- Paralympic medalist Deepa Malik said she has overcome her disability with this medal. I will never forget these words

-- Swachh Bharat completes 2 yrs. 2.48cr toilets built in rural areas. 1.5cr more will be constructed in next year

-- Dial 1969 to check progress of Swachh Bharat. Number can also be used for requesting work in your area

-- I urge youth to come up with relevant startups about “waste to wealth” model

-- The country should celebrate Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s centenary as ‘Garib Kalyan Varsh’

-- Next week we will be celebrating Durga Puja & Navratri. Let us celebrate Navratri and Durga Puja with the aim to take the nation to new heights of peace, unity, good faith

-- Mann ki baat isn’t just a 15-20min dialogue, but has become an opportunity to bring about social change

-- I always encourage people to buy Khadi. Lets buy products made of Khadi to commemorate this Gandhi Jayanti which would contribute to the poor involved in this trade
