Four persons, including three Army jawans, were injured when terrorists triggered a car bomb explosion in Rawalpora area of the city on Saturday morning, a defence spokesperson said.

An explosives-laden Maruti car exploded at the Rawalpora bypass around 0915 hours when an Army convoy was passing through, injuring the three jawans, the spokesperson said.

A girl walking on the road at the time of the explosion was also wounded, they said.

Police and security forces immediately cordoned the area to nab the ultras responsible for the blast. No terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
