Jayanti Dalmia, who fronts the organisation, sees the show as an awareness programme. She says, “There are many who aren’t aware of the needs of the specially-abled. Through this exhibition, we wish to share their creative side with art enthusiasts across the city. Thus on view along with paintings by Nupur Kundu, Seema Kohli, Gopal Naam Joshi, Puja Bahri and Kanchan Chander among others, will be artworks of some special children from our school.”
Besides mirroring their passion for all things resplendent, the initiative will also help accumulate funds for the betterment of facilities at the Four Steps School in Kailash Colony. Dalmia also plans to stir souls and evoke responses through social networking websites like Facebook.
The exhibition is on view from April 29 to May 1 at Stainless Art Gallery, Okhla crossing, Mathura Road.
