Bhatia in city today

THE NEWLY elected member of Rajya Sabha and former Advocate General of the State, Virendra Bhatia, would pay tributes to freedom fighter and former MLA, the late Baba Ramadhar Yadav by garlanding his statue at Jagram crossing in New Katra on Sunday. Bhatia is coming to the city for the first time after being elected as member of the Rajya Sabha.

THE NEWLY elected member of Rajya Sabha and former Advocate General of the State, Virendra Bhatia, would pay tributes to freedom fighter and former MLA, the late Baba Ramadhar Yadav by garlanding his statue at Jagram crossing in New Katra on Sunday. Bhatia is coming to the city for the first time after being elected as member of the Rajya Sabha.

Samajwadi Adhivakta Sabha (SAS) state secretary Vinay Pratap Singh said supporters and members of SAS would welcome Bhatia at Teliarganj and take out a procession from Teliarganj to Circuit House.

State law officers (Allahabad High Court) will felicitate SMA Kazmi and Virendra Bhatia, both senior advocates, on their elevation as State advocate general and Rajya Sabha member, respectively, at 7.30 pm on Sunday. They will be felicitated on the judges’ lawn (in front of the chief justice’s portico) at the High Court.
