Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to visit Rae Bareli

Party sources said that no date has been finalised and she would visit her constituency as early as possible.

This would be Gandhi's first visit to Rae Bareli after resigning from the Lok Sabha. She has, however, declared that she would certainly contest again and that to from Rae Bareli.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the AICC office bearers took place this evening in the backdrop of the situation caused by Gandhi's resignation from the Lok Sabha and the NAC.
