The cut-off, announced on Sunday, shows an average increase of 0.5 per cent, indicating stiff competition in subjects like B.Com (pass), B.Com (hons) and Economics (hons). What makes it stiffer is the fact that there are around 2,000 students who have scored over 90 per cent in CBSE in Delhi itself.
Suman Verma, deputy dean (students' welfare), said though the cut-off for science courses has not seen a major change since last year, it is a different story in commerce and arts streams.
