Artist Meenakshi Salve has come up with a range in earthenware and porcelain for the festive season, and says that these are the ‘in’ gifts this Diwali.

“We have platters, nut bowls, cocktail dishes and gold-plated porcelain pieces. The collection is fresh, handmade and artistic.” Salve, who usually works with crystalware, porcelain and earthenware, started out with stained glass 12 years ago.
“It was a hobby, but I took professional training later. I used to do only stained glass till two years ago. Then I started importing custom made pieces from Italy.” Her boutique, Ame De Verre, comprises of four sections — Stained Glass, Baldi collection, Crystalware and Ceramics. Her collection now includes works from China, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic and several European countries.
The festive collection will be launched on October 7 at DLF Emporio mall
