Shiv Kumar Chaudhary, DRM, Allahabad will inaugurate the event.
Altogether 105 craftsmen have been invited for the occasion who will put up the stalls of terracotta, zari and silk work, woodcraft, blue pottery, jute work, silver art, wood inlay, handloom, stone work, tie and dye, and several such items.
Besides there will be cultural events which will be held in the evening such as 'taal vadya kachetri' by Vijay Chandra and his group on the opening day followed by Bharatnatyyam. On March 2, Gayatri Devi from Mirzapur will present folk songs and folk dances.
Similarly on March 3, Kuldeep Singh and his group will present folk dance. Folk songs and folk dance will be presented by the artiste Kanchan Singh on March 4.
Entertaining event of magic show will be presented on March 5. Dinesh Yadav will present folk songs on March 6. Swati Rao from Gorakhpur will regale the audience with kathak and Usha Gupta from Mirzapur will present bhajans on March 7.
Similarly the audience will have the chance to watch Bihu dance of Assam on March 8 along with the presentation of birha gayan by Yagya Narayan Patel.
Likewise on March 9, Ramnarayan Patel will present birha.
Kajari will be presented by Urmila Srivastav on March 10 under the guru-shishya parampara on the concluding day. The highlight of the event will be poets' conference in which only the female poets will participate.
