Heroin worth Rs 70 crore seized
Two persons were arrested and 14 kg of heroin, worth Rs 70 crore in the international market, was seized from their possession by the Special Narcotic Cell of Punjab police in Amritsar.

Two persons were arrested and 14 kg of heroin, worth Rs 70 crore in the international market, was seized from their possession by the Special Narcotic Cell of Punjab police in Amritsar on Thursday.
Confirming the seizure, SSP Special Narcotic Cell P K Sinha said, the arrested have been identified as Kuldip Singh and Sukhwinder Singh, residents of Ferozpur district.
The consignment of narcotic was smuggled from Pakistan, he added.
