The construction that cost around € 280 million was completed in 2005. The stadium now has some world-class facilities including the largest underground car park in Europe, with a space for 10,000 cars.

The real beauty of Munich stadium is its phenomenon exterior, which is made from translucent, lozenge-shaped cushions that glitter with myriad hues at night.

The stadium is home for TSV 1860 Munich and FC Bayern Munich.
