Mystery over Soren son’s death

Durga Soren, 39, the eldest son of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo Shibu Soren, died at his residence in sector-I of Bokaro city on Wednesday night.

Hemant, his younger brother, said that Durga went to bed at night but did not wake up in the morning. “We would be able to ascertain the cause of his death only after the post-mortem," he said.

According to sources, at 8:00 am on Thursday the Soren family informed the Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) that Durga was critically ill. However, the body was already stiff and cold by the time he was taken to the hospital. The doctors declared him brought dead.

Bokaro SP Laxman Prasad Singh said that there were injury marks at the back of his head. A small bloodstain was also found on his bed.
