Six persons were arrested with arms and ammunition on Wednesday at Chambar Takia locality in Sasaram Nagar in Bihar's Rohtas district.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided a hideout and caught them wanted in connection with several cases of loot in the district, Superintendent of Police (SP) Manu Maharaj said.
The police seized five pistols, five magazines and 15 live ammunition from the criminals, he said.
They were later sent to jail, Maharaj said.
