FORMER VICE-PRESIDENT of Shiv Sena State unit Manjusha Dubey alleged that four persons tried to abduct her and also threatened her with dire consequences if she tried to resist.

FORMER VICE-PRESIDENT of Shiv Sena State unit Manjusha Dubey alleged that four persons tried to abduct her and also threatened her with dire consequences if she tried to resist. Dubey, who has already lodged an FIR with Habibganj Police Station over the issue, demanded that charges of abduction be slapped on the accused.

At a press conference today, Dubey alleged that four persons, Vajender, Devesh, Bhalu and Sanjay, stormed the residence of her family friend Parvinder on January 11 night where she was sitting and forced her to accompany them first to an apartment at 10 number and later to Idgah Hills.

She said she managed to somehow return to her residence in Gulmohar Colony in E-8, Arera Colony, when the accused tried to take her to Railway Station. She alleged that it was a clear abduction attempt and police should register case under relevant sections.

The police registered the case under Section 342, 354, 323, 506 and 34 that pertained to wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation and intent to outrage modesty. Dubey said she feared threat to her life and if anything happened to her, the abovementioned persons and the wife of Vajender – Surjit Kaur and wife of Parvinder – Harpreet Kaur – who also reportedly threatened her, should be held responsible.
