Villager murdered by terrorists in J&K

The terrorists reportedly abducted Akhter on Sunday night, slit his throat and threw the body outside his village.

A local youth was abducted by terrorists who tortured him before slitting his throat and dumping the body in the outskirts of his village in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

The body of Wasim Akhter was recovered by police on Monday morning from the outskirts of village Sanjote in Mendhar border Tehsil of Poonch district, they said.

The terrorists reportedly abducted Akhter on Sunday night and took him to a nearby forest and tortured him. They later slit his throat and threw the body outside his village.

The body has been handed over to his family members, they said.
