Tweet by a dog’s human just went viral because he exposed his not-so-good-boy for taking bribe from a bear. Twitter user @JesseNeon posted that his dog, who is supposed to be a guard dog and bark at anything that enters his compound at night, keeps quiet and lets a bear access his trash because the bear bribes the dog with deer bones.

The tweet has gained more than 320,000 “likes” and 81,000 retweets. (Twitter/@JesseNeon)

Shared on May 8, the post explains how miserably his dog fails at its night job. The post further reads, “This is the THIRD TIME he’s been gifted deer bones in exchange for being allowed access to my trash, AND HE KEEPS DOING IT.” The tweet, which captured the attention of netizens, has gained more than 320,000 “likes” and 81,000 retweets.

This interspecies cooperation amazed Tweeple. While some called him a “good boy”, others were simply surprised by the entire incident.

The dog’s owner further commented on the same tweet revealing that the dog is a mastiff/hound mutt and his name is Brickleberry or Brick. He left comments on his own tweet to give some background information about his furry pet.

When some Twitter users expressed concerns for the dog’s safety, the owner left another comment saying that “the black bears are a nuisance in northern Ontario and not typically a threat, meaning Brick is very much not likely to get eaten. If he was, I wouldn’t let him sleep outside.” He also shared some adorable images of Brick. Check them out:

What do you think about this fine arrangement between the dog and a bear?
