Beginning at 7 pm Indian Standard Time on August 23, 2026, the pageant will stream live across the globe via the Glamanand YouTube channel, allowing Indian and international audiences to follow the proceedings in real time.

The Miss Universe India 2026 grand finale on August 23 will be held in Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City. With its royal heritage, grand palaces and artisanal textiles, the city provides a striking backdrop as the pageant looks to blend Indian cultural with modern ideas of empowerment and self-expression.
Star-studded Miss Universe India 2026 jury
Evaluating the delegates is an elite selection committee featuring notable names from Indian cinema and pageantry. The panel is led by actor Sushmita Sen, India's first-ever Miss Universe (1994), alongside actors and fellow former titleholders Celina Jaitly (Miss Universe India 2001) and Urvashi Rautela (Miss Universe India 2015). Joining them on the jury is film producer Pragya Kapoor, among others.
From auditions to the final stage

The final 52 includes state titleholders, wildcard entries and representatives from the Indian diaspora. In Jaipur over the past weeks, finalists have completed preliminary rounds, including personal interviews, swimsuit round and evening gown presentations.
The competition format
The finale followed a standard elimination format. The initial pool of 52 was narrowed to a Top 20 based on preliminary jury scores and a public choice vote. The shortlisted contestants then competed in swimsuit and evening-wear rounds. This will be followed by a question-and-answer segment designed to test composure, awareness, and communication skills.

Passing the crown
At the end of the evening, reigning titleholder Manika Vishwakarma will crown her successor. The winner will serve as India's ambassador at the 75th Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico in November. She will undergo intensive training in styling, fitness and public speaking in the lead-up to the global beauty pageant.
