The Central Railway’s harbour line services in Mumbai were affected during the morning peak hours on Monday because of a rail fracture, which occurred at 6.40 am between the suburban Chunabhatti and Kurla railway stations.

The fracture was rectified by 7.15 am, railway officials said.

As a result, local train services on the harbour line were operating with a delay of 30 minutes in the morning. Late in the afternoon, the delay reduced to 15 minutes. Trains on the central line too are running 10 minutes behind time.
