The police said that an unidentified man allegedly approached the victim, a resident of Makdawala compound in V B Nagar, Kurla (West), and asked her to help him find the address of one ‘Subhash’.

The accused then allegedly lured the girl with a cold drink and took her to the terrace of a building in Sabri Nagar. On reaching there, when the accused found the terrace door locked, he dragged her to the second floor and allegedly molested her.

As the locals headed to help the girl, the accused escaped from the spot.

The case was transferred to V B Nagar police station on Wednesday.
