The stage is set, the music is on and the shortlisted bands are ready to battle for the title of the most rocking band of India. From a total of 61 bands that had registered for the ProActivate Battle of Bands, eight bands of different genres have been shortlisted for the final winning title.

The contest, in which the bands were expected to register on Facebook by posting a video of their performance, is an initiative to promote young amateur artists and bands through the creation of a professional platform for them.
A talent hunt fest where bands can showcase their talent, creativity and original music compositions, the much sought after event will bring together music lovers from all across the country.
The winning band will get to open a major musical act later this month.
