Nitish, Lalu match wits in parody war
It appears that a parody war has started between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who are making attacks on each other though their compositions.
It appears that a parody war has started between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who are making attacks on each other though their compositions.

While the CM composed a parody on Lalu, “jai ho, maharaj kayapalt ji ki chai ho,” based on musician A.R. Rehman’s tune in Slumdog Millionaire to lampoon his turnaround story in Railways, Lalu fired a return salvo on Thursday.
Lalu said Nitish may have started the trend but he could pen down better kavitas. Lalu read out his 12 line composition: “Yeh shashan hai, maharaj sushashan ka, khel ho raha hai kusashan ka,” to drive home his point that the good governance agenda was just a farce.
The next verses were on the alleged bungling on AC/DC bills and government’s failure to distribute relief to flood victims.
He also took a potshot at Nitish mocking the way he had succumbed to the demands of Naxals in the Kajra hill episode.
“He is doing it because he is all frustrated,” Lalu said, pointing out that the Nitish’s Jai Ho poem was actually a ‘farewell song’ having a melanchonic tinge for fear of losing power.
However, BJP leader Sanjay Jha said, “The reaction of Lalu to Nitish’s Jai Ho remarks is symptomatic of the anxiety that has gripped the RJD-LJP formation.”
