Dense fog in parts of north India, likely to continue over next few days| Pics
Several parts of north India on Tuesday morning were covered in a thick blanket of fog with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting similar conditions to continue for the next few days. In a statement, the met department said that “dense to very dense fog conditions are likely to continue over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh during the next 4-5 days”.

The thick blanket of fog has lead to poor visibility in several cities. According to data recorded on Tuesday morning at 5:30 am, the visibility in Delhi's Palam area was just 25 metres, while in Safdarjung, it was 50 metres. (ANI)
