Ramani, when he was posted in Aurangabad division, took several successful steps against malnutrition. His ideas were picked up by the state government to form the Rajmata Jijau nutrition mission which has helped people like Sunita Thomre, who is holding her child Tejas at an anganwadi centre in Mandki village in Vaijapur block of Aurangabad.
