Landslide in J&K damages over dozen houses | Pics

- A massive landslide damaged over a dozen houses in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban and Ganderbal districts on Sunday. According to news agency ANI, officials stated that no casualties had been reported and that people had been relocated to safe places. The main road connecting Gool and Sangaldan in Ramban was also closed for vehicular traffic due to cracks, and the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) was requested to make the alternate road motorable to facilitate movement of people and defence vehicles, according to news agency PTI reports. The affected families in Ramban will receive compensation from the State Disaster Management Fund within the shortest possible time, in accordance with the established guidelines.
