Photos: Delhi experiences its coldest October in 58 years

Delhi has just witnessed its coldest October in 58 years, with the mean minimum temperature for the month settling at 17.2 degrees Celsius this year. The last time it was this cold in the national capital was in 1962, when the mean minimum temperature for October was 16.9 degrees Celsius. The absence of cloud cover clubbed with calm winds are the major reason for such low minimum temperatures in Delhi. The city’s air quality has also remained in the very poor category in recent days with the AQI on October 31 recorded at was 367.
