On Saturday, her daughter's class teacher informed her that another student took her to the school's toilet and raped her after gagging her with a handkerchief.

On getting the news, the woman rushed to the school, following which, she and her husband lodged complaint at Sarabha Nagar police station on Sunday.

Inspector Amrinder Singh, station house officer (SHO) at Sarabha Nagar police station, said after conducting medical examination of the victim, the police registered a case and arrested the accused immediately. However, as he was a minor, he was sent to the juvenile home, he added.
