8-yr-old raped, murdered
An eight-year-old girl from Mour village under the sadar police station, Kotkpaura, was allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered. Her body was found in a field on Tuesday morning.

An eight-year-old girl from Mour village under the sadar police station, Kotkpaura, was allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered. Her body was found in a field on Tuesday morning.
The victim's family said the girl went missing on Monday night from outside her house. Her body was found dumped in the field this morning.
The policed have registered a case of rape and murder against unidentified persons, said Kotkapura station house officer Gurpirar Singh Sandhu.
The police have also rounded up a person from the village for questioning, said sources. The victim's body was sent to the GGS Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
