Neerja Bhanot conferred ‘Bharat Gaurav Award’ at House of Commons

The award has been instituted by Sanksriti Yuva Sanstha, a Jaipur-headquartered NGO. Neerja’s brothers Akhil and Aneesh Bhanot attended the ceremony in London and received the award.

Posthumously, she became the youngest recipient of India’s highest peacetime award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra.
