Be it a trailer or a movie, most makers bank on Mammootty’s entry shot to get audience hooked to a film. Looks like the makers of Abrahaminte Santhathikal do not believe in this practice. For the first time, we have a trailer of a Mammootty starrer and all we see are profiles or artistic shots of him. From the looks of the trailer, we might have a revenge thriller here. The killer seeks certain individuals and then kills them one by one.

Mammootty’s next Abrahaminte Santhathikal is slated to release on June 16.

The emphasis on the killer’s bloody hands tell us that Derrick Abraham (Mammootty) is in search of him, but when the police are seen investigating the crime scenes, Abraham is nowhere in sight. Could he be the killer? The film also underlines the religion of Mammootty’s character with stunning shots of the cross and the rosary.

The trailer of the film was launched at a mall in Kochi on Thursday where actors Mammootty, Ranji Panicker,Midhun Manuel Thomas and director Shaji Padoor were present. Abrahaminte Santhathikal also stars Anson Paul and Kaniha in pivotal roles.

The film is produced by TL George and Joby George and is slated to release on June 16.

Mammootty was last seen donning the khaki in the slice-of-life drama, Streetlight. He is currently working with Santosh Sivan on the biopic of 16th Century naval chief Kunjali Marakkar. He will also be working on sequel of his hit film Bilal, and will next be seen in Oru Kuttanadan Blog.
