Kaala trailer: Rajinikanth stands strong for the oppressed in Pa Ranjith’s new film
Kaala trailer features Rajinikanth as the voice of the oppressed and a nightmare for the oppressors.
Rajinikanth’s Kaala trailer is finally here. Shared on Monday by Dhanush, the trailer for Pa Ranjith’s new film is full of energy and explosions. The actor’s fans have fallen in love with the trailer and #Kaala is trending on the second position across India on Twitter. “Goose-freaking-bumps by the end. My Thalaivar is in full force. This one’s going to bring a revolution!,” a fan wrote about the trailer.
Kaala trailer begins on a heavy note with Nana Patekar as the politician giving a speech about how he is going to remove the dirt from the slums and bring light to what is otherwise a dark place.
What would happen if the world had started to idolise Raavana over Rama? Kaala is what Raavana would be to the politicians who go on about development for the rich. He stands alone to support his people who are considered dirt among the upper class society and he doesn’t falter. Not even when his close friends and family is attacked.

He says, “For you people, the land is your right, but for us it is life.” Cue in the stunning music by Santhosh Narayanan and the heavy lyrics about rights, and life.
If the film hits a chord with the audiences who feel they are being ignored by the center, especially with Thootukudi shooting, Rajinikanth is set for an impressive political beginning.
Yes, the film has hero worship written all over it. The subject matter, however, requires a voice strong enough to deliver it and director Pa Ranjith has found it in Rajinikanth. He is not a superstar here, he is the people’s leader. He has his flaws and virtues, both of which his people in Dharavi accept whole heartedly.
The film, set to release worldwide on June 7, has fans expectation soaring high. It will clash with Hollywood release Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
