Superstar Mahesh Babu, basking in the phenomenal success of Bharat Ane Nenu, is the new entrant at the prestigious Madame Tussauds wax museum. On Thursday night, the actor shared the news via his official twitter handle that he is a part of the prestigious Madame Tussauds family. He even thanked the team of artists for their attention to detail. While Baahubali’s Prabhas was the first Telugu character to get a wax statue in Madame Tussauds, Mahesh has emerged as the first Telugu actor to be immortalised in the form of a wax statue.
Mahesh tweeted, “Super happy to be a part of the prestigious Madame Tussauds :) :) Thanks to the team of artists for their attention to detail. Incredible!” The launch date of the statue has been announced as of now.

Even though Mahesh’s performance as a CM has earned good response from all quarters, he had said he had qualms about playing the role at the pre-release event. “I was initially scared, but Siva’s story was so inspiring that I didn’t want to miss this opportunity. I believe this is my finest performance ever. Srimanthudu was a turning point in my career and I see Bharat Ane Nenu as another major turning point.”
In its first week at the box-office worldwide, the film has grossed over Rs 125 crore and continues to shine at the ticket window. At the film’s thank you meet earlier this week, Mahesh said the success of the film has come after two years of tension and not being able to live up to the expectations of his fans.
