Naanum Rowdydhaan team to work together again

Music composer Anirush Ravichander and director Vignesh, who previously collaborated for the Tamil film Naanum Rowdydhaan, will be working again in an upcoming film starring Vijay Sethupathi.

The Naanum Rowdydhaan trio - director Vignesh, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Vijay Sethupathi - are getting back again for a yet untitled Tamil film. This will be a second outing, especially for Anirudh and Vignesh.

“The project is slated to go on the floors later this year. It’s tipped to be another romantic comedy along the lines of Vignesh’s first film,” said a source close to the director.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised, rumour has it that Nayanthara, who had previously worked in Naanum Rowdydhaan, might join the team again. This project is likely to be bankrolled by AM Rathnam.

The 2015 Dhanush production Naanum Rowdydhaan was big hit and is now being remade in Telugu as Nennu Rowdy Ne.
