Riteish Deshmukh's dream run at the box office continues, and now even his fiercest critic is flummoxed.
After a superlative performance in Ek Villain, he gave Dharma Productions' big-budget film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania a run for its money with Lai Bhaari, which he's co-produced. The Marathi film, starring Riteish and Sharad Kelkar, earned Rs 10.55 crore over the weekend in Maharashtra alone.
The film earned Rs 3.6 crore on Saturday, a slight jump from the opening collection of Rs 3.1 crore. Nishikant Kamat's directorial venture Lai Bhaari further picked up on Sunday and earned Rs 3.85 crore on Sunday, averaging a total of Rs 10.55 crore over the weekend.
