Theri first look: Tamil superstar Vijay back after Puli
Tamil superstar Vijay is back with the first look of his new film, Theri. Take a look:
Leaving the Puli debacle behind, Tamil superstar Vijay is getting prepared for his next release--Theri. The actor released the first look posters of the film and a series of images from the shoot. One poster shows us a gun-trotting Vijay in an action mode, as if a cop in civilian clothes. All the fire and lightning behind adds an element of thrill. The second poster has three images of Vijay, with one covering the mouth of the other even as the third has his back to the viewer, implying some sort of secret.
The next lot of images looks to be from song sequences from the film which have Vijay effortlessly weaving in his charm. One of the images though is a cop in uniform with a rather grim-looking Vijay.
Theri is an action thriller directed by Atlee. The film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson in important roles and has music by GV Prakash Kumar. The film is slated to hit the screens later this year.
